AAC

Accreditation is a collaborative process among peer organizations, programs, and professionals. Together, our work is critical in bringing Ayurveda recognition as a legitimate and trusted healthcare system in this country.

Message from Dr Lisa Cavallaro, Executive Director

January proved to be a busy and productive month at AAC. We had the privilege of hosting a successful State Organization Meet & Greet, fostering valuable connections within our community. As the accreditation commission increases its public awareness, we strongly believe that creating space for collaborative discussions and feedback is essential to the growth of Ayurvedic medicine in the United States. We are hoping to continue these virtual roundtable conversations on a quarterly basis. If you’re a representative of a State Association or other Ayurvedic organization, please reach out to ensure that you’ll be notified directly about future events.

In keeping with the spirit of increased collaboration, we are actively recruiting new Board members. The call for prospective board members can be found on our website. We hope that passionate individuals dedicated to advancing our mission and vision will bring their experience in the field to our organization. Finally, we are looking forward to sharing AAC’s forthcoming Annual Report, which highlights the remarkable growth of the organization in its past year of operations.

Looking ahead, we are hard at work developing exciting plans for events and programming throughout 2024, including our first in-person event this May at NAMA’s 20th Annual Conference. Hope to see you there!

Warmest wishes,

Lisa Cavallaro, Executive Director

Webinar Series for Programs in Candidacy

Our six-month webinar series was created to assist candidate programs in developing their self-study reports as part of the accreditation process. The recordings of these sessions, along with supporting documentation, are available to candidate programs on the dedicated resource page on our website. These presentations included time for open discussion and Q+A with participants and AAC’s Executive Director, Dr. Lisa Cavallaro.

In addition to the recent State Organization Meet & Greet, we are in the planning phase of several more AAC events and programs. More details will be announced soon!
